Custom slub in green

Having finished all of 2009 admin and orders I am now up and running at regular speed again, taking care of new custom orders, spinning, painting and carding fresh fibres. We have had a good 10 inches of fresh snow, and it’s a perfect day for staying indoors, having a hot cup of tea and sitting behind the spinning wheel. I have finished one custom order of beautiful handspun merino-silk slub (thick and thin) yarn, spun from a drum carded fleece. It has already gone to its new home in the US, to be turned into a warm hat for St.Patrick’s day:

I will be busy with another custom order of 21 short wool dreads in 7 different colours. Once I have finished them I will certainly display them here on my blog ;o)
