Easter is set quite early this year, and according to the weather forecast it will be a little chilly over the holidays. As we will be doing our traditional easter egg hunt with the children and also go for a nice easter walk through the open fields I prepared myself a bit and made a cosy 4-button scarf from my handspun merino heavy worsted/bulky weight yarn. I used a ribbed pattern to make the scarf elastic and finished it with 1 skein of 115 yards and 4 wooden buttons. I think it came out beautifully, I love the colourway. This baby will keep me warm for sure :o). It will also be displayed in my online exhibition. Yay, a new piece of woolly loveliness!
And as you can see I also painted some more bluefaced leicester curly fleece in very pretty earthy heather shades.
Everyone, have a lovely and peaceful Easter weekend.
