Yarn session

After quite a long yarn dyeing break I have decided to stock a new range of yarns and yarn weights. That means, as long as my wholesalers will stock them I can stock them too, you never know what their plans are really, the wool markets are shifting around their fibers and prices so fast, next thing you know your favourite yarn type has been replaced by something very different.

My new yarns are all superwash extra fine 19-20 micron and ultra fine 16 micron mulesing free merino wool and merino-silk yarns,  lusciously soft with a stunning handle indeed. I have particularly fallen in love with the worsted weight yarn (the brown/ocre/burnt orange yarns below), it will make perfectly cosy hats and scarves. :o)

oh, and I sneaked another batch of my handspun thick and thin merino yarn “Hogmanay” into the squares, also extra soft and mulesing free. All yarns are now displayed in my etsy store. There will still be baby alpaca and virgin wool yarns available within the next few weeks. I know I am not the fastest one when it comes to painting yarns, there will be new hand painted batches on a regular basis this year, just not tons of them. Plus, clipping time will begin soon, and I will be drowning in raw fleeces again, yay! :o)

Everyone, have a wonderful spring season, and Happy Fiber Crafting!
