November yarns and fibers

Long time no blog, my apologies. We moved house and have almost fully settled in. To be back near the city is quite nice, having lived on top of a mountain for 9 years, a very beautiful mountain though and 9 absolutely wonderful years, but pretty far in the countryside. I will miss it, IContinue reading “November yarns and fibers”

Handspun merino and felt beauties

It´s been a pretty hot summer so far, not my favourite season really. I prefer to keep the doors and windows open all day, but when the air is simmering and you are having trouble breathing O2 off that “hairdryer” atmosphere, you best close the shutters….and think of something cool. I then like sitting behindContinue reading “Handspun merino and felt beauties”

Fleece update

Just a quick update on what´s now available, wensleydale fleece wise. There is still a good 25lbs of raw fleece to be washed and sorted. There will be less natural black fleece available than I thought, as the majority of the black wool has turned out to be a dark silver grey – yep, thatContinue reading “Fleece update”
